Fios Installation taking FOREVER!!!
So today we are having Fios installed at our house since we are switching over.
The guy showed up around 9:15 this morning and is still here!!!  He ran into a problem and had to leave for a couple of hours, but he's back and it's 7 hours later and he is still working!
I knew it took a while, but I didn't expect it to take THIS long!

Don't know why ours is taking so long. My parents had it installed today and they were there from 11-4.
This guy got here at 9:15 and at 4:55 is still here!!! Whoa!
I hope yours doesn't take as long!

My cousin installs Fios on LI and a typical installation really does take all day. Your parents were lucky.

OK, just an FYI... the guy (who was VERY nice by the way) was here from about 9:15 this morning until 6:30. He just left. What a long day! I hope it's worth it!!!

It took them two full 8 hour days & then a couple hours a third day to install it at my parents' house. They were NOT happy.

We just did ours today. THe guy was here from 9:30 until 4. minus an hour for lunch!
Ours took so long because he had to run 300 feet of cable to attach us to the pole through the back yards which in my neighbors cases are pretty steep inclines! Then when setting up my email account he ran into some issues with the account! but nothing too bad!
Our install went as I would have expected! It was actually less intrusive than I thought it would be!
