Fifths Disease
My doctor told me my blood showed that I am immune to it. (I am a teacher) So I asked, does that mean if there is a case of it in my school I don't have to worry and he said yes, it's no problem.
Have you ever heard of someone being immune to it???

I have no clue but did a quick google search and came up with this:
Once exposed you develop immunity, experts disagree whether immunity is just long term (many years) or for life.

I am immune to it as well. I think if you had chicken pox you might be immune to it

I am immune to it too.
At some point I was exposed to it, either as a child or as an adult.

Yes, many people are immune to fifths disease. You could have gotten it without even knowing, and you have anti-bodies against it.

My doctor told me at my 12 week appointment that I am immune to fifth's disease also, and I am a teacher too.

Yes! Teachers always get checked...if immune.. your FINE if a case breaks out in your school!
