feeling a little jealous
I know I should not feel this way my best friend and I are both moving into new houses.... Her house is just sooo beautiful and huge. We are not rich like she is and we bought a moderate house ya know.... She says she cant wait to see my new house and I am actually dont want to really show her... I know I should not feel this way... but our new house looks nothing like theirs.... UGH I really should not beel this way

I feel that way too sometimes when I go to my BIL's MANSION  in Garden City. Then I remind myself that I am thankful for what I have and you should be too!

Jealousy is a completely normal feeling...but when i feel like that over material things (believe me, i've been there...2 bedroom apartment here!!) you just remind yourself of the wonderful things you have in life...like a beautiful daughter and great husband.
And you are a homeowner, which is great! I hope to be there someday!! :)

Aww... What your feeling is completely normal- believe me, we have ALL been there. I'm sure there are people out there envious of you- hey we still live in an apartment & aren't even close to buying a house!!!!

I'm sorry you're feeling that way. I'm sure the feeling will pass soon. As others have said, you have so much to be thankful for!
Trust me, you're friend does NOT want to see your house just to compare it to hers. She's probably genuinely interested to see your new home and genuinely excited for you! I'm sure she will love it.
Money isn't everything, and I bet she's very excited for you... not thinking that she's better or anything!
