feeding advice- refusing milk

i bf almost 8 month am and pm, and she gets 2 bottles during the day - i wohm. she had been taking 6.5 ounces in the bottle. for the past 3-4 days, nanny told me she has no interest in the bottle, and will only take 2-3 ounces and refuse the rest. i know that is not enough at this age, plus today, she basically refused to nurse. she nursed when she woke up, but the rest of the day refused - would get hysterical when i tried to get ehr to nurse. i tried bottle, sippy, nothing worked. she jsut kept screaming, and only wanted solids. i've been giving her very liquidy solids, but i'm worried shes not getting enough milk. she seems perfectly happy otherwise, not pulling ears or anything

is she teething? sometimes the sucking motion can bother them if that is the case. if she seems otherwise healthy, i wouldn't worry about it. just give her apples, etc - watery solids like you say - so she doesn't get dehydrated. they go thru phases.

Re: feeding advice

If I'm not mistaken I believe at that age and when they start solids consistenly they formula intake decreases...they no longer want as much milk. My niece is 10 months old and my SIL told me for the past month she has been decreasing her milk intake and has more interests in solids.
