Favorite genre of Holiday song?
What genre of Holiday song do you prefer? I personally prefer the humorous ones. 12 Pains of Christmas, Adam Sandler's Hannukah Song, Grandma got run over by a Reindeer, etc.

I voted for funny because that's the genre where I like ALL the songs.....there are only certain songs that i like in each of the other categories too though.

I'm pretty much the same way. I know there is no cut and dry answer, but most people usually have a preference. If you only have one song to listen to, what kind would it be? I would pick funny, but if I'm decorating the tree at home, I might like an instrumental. Christmas dinner might be a good time for more religious styles. Opening presents is a good time for Santa, Christmas trees, snowmen and reindeer songs.

I voted other--Anything done by the oldies like Nat King Cole, Bing Crosby, Ella Fitzgerald Johnny Mathis & Frank Sinatra. Geeze I think I'm a 90 year old lady trapped in a 30 year olds body  Between my music and my china cabinet I am ready for retirement

I like a lot of different ones, but my favorites are religious, like O Holy Night- my favorite. But my other favorite is Happy Holiday, by Andy Williams- absolutely love this upbeat song!
