Famous Sarasota Residents
There are many well-known residents of Sarasota that appreciate the lifestyle and privacy that they have in Sarasota. Here are a few, all verified by us as property owners:
Robby Alomar - Is a baseball All-Star that recently sold his home on Bird Key.
Dickie Betts - Known as one of the most influential guitar players of all time. A founding member of The Allman Brothers Band, has one of the most distinctive voices in music today. He lives on the south side of Sarasota.
Chris Browne - Author and cartoonist and writer of Hagar the Horrible and Raising Duncan. He lives on Siesta Key with his wife Carroll.
Brian Johnson - AC/DC's lead singer, writes music and lyrics, lives on Bird Key.
Stephen King - Author - Casey Key
Audrey Landers, Judy Landers and Ruth Landers - Full time residents and their production company is in Sarasota:

Mike Peters - The outgoing creator of Mother Goose and Grimm lives right here in Sarasota on Siesta Key.

This one may be a little hard to see but each town is really not that big. You can walk around St. Armands in a day.

My DH lived a good part of his childhood in St. Pete and were we going to move down your way before he got on the FDNY, but I love the area!

My uncle lives down there, he has a nice home with a private gold course in the back., and an in-ground pool.My dad helps him maintain his grounds.
