Facebook question

ok, so i finally succumbed to peer pressure and i joined facebook. yesterday, when i set up the account, i put my first and married name. Is there a way to add my maiden name so that people could find me that way?

People can find you by high school and email, too. Sorry that was not the question you asked but my second wind of caffiene just kicked in...Chat Icon

I added my maiden name after I set up my account. I don't remember how I did it though. Chat Icon

In your profile, change your display name and add in your maiden name where you want it..i recently did this...i think that move was peer pressure..haha

In your profile where you put your name... Just change it so you're hyphenated.

That's what I did and it's worked so far, people have found me.

If you click on "account" and then "name" there is a section that says "former name", then even though your facebook profile shows ur married name, if someone searches your maiden name they will find you.
