engagement parties
How much would you give at a backyard BBQ engagement party? My brother has a few to go to and he's not sure.

I would still give the same as if it was at a place probably $75 - $125pp depending on who it is.

For a BBQ party I would give a gift rather than money. I didn't have an engagment party (not my thing), but some of our friends gave us gifts anyway and my favorites were our cake topper and engraved cake servers.
