Engagement Gift ideas?!?!
A couple of ours who are good friends were engaged in Dec. I sent a card, but want to get a gift too. Any ideas? I want something different, not a photo album or pic frame.
The wedding is not until 2008, so she has not registered yet, or else that would have given me some clues.
And thoughts/ideas?

I got a throw blanket from Things remembered with our names , a sweet saying and the date of our engagement

A couples spa treatment-they might be able to use some relaxation during wedding planning and wont want to spend the $$ themselves

Knife/cake server- but I chose it, my aunt bought it
Maybe their champagne glasses- I love mine- My mom bought us the Swarovski ones, they are gorgeous!

A gift certificate to their favorite restaurant......with a card or note to say use it to relax during the hectic wedding planning ahead would be nice!

How about something like the Stories of a Lifetime, I always think this is a meaningful bnook for those newly engaged, married or having a child...
