ended up in the er on wed night
so with my two girls i never bled the whole pregnancies so when i woke up at midnight to a bad cramp and got up to go the bathroom and bled in my pjs/toilet, i thought this was it such a scary situation.....well after taking the beta and ultrasound the baby is fine thank god....i was told it was a subcnrionic hematoma and i needed to take it easy for the next couple of days
so im beyond nervous despite being told that the baby is ok......i guess the fact that the doc had to write "threatened miscarriage" on my paperwork didnt make it any better anyway my question is anyone have experiences with hematomas? please share. thank you.

ended up in the er on wed night
I had one at around 6 weeks and I went to my RE and all was good with the baby... Take it easy no heavy lifting and no sex.. We went till 12 weeks with no sex for my fears of bleeding again the doc said 2 weeks of pelvic rest... I spotted for 8 weeks after but the hematoma was gone and I am almost 16 weeks with no spotting and all is good so fat

I had bleeding with DS 2 and ended up in the er. The paperwork made me more scared!

Thank u so much for your experience I think that's what worries me the most is will it come back? I have to go for my follow up on the 18th so well see what happens then thanks again for the info

I had this happen. I was 14 weeks pg with my first son and had never had bleeding before that. I was cooking dinner, and felt a gush. I was bleeding pretty badly. Had the same thing as you...once the bleeding stopped I didn't have anything else the rest of the pregnancy! But it was terrifying, i totally know how you feel. The term they used with me was a "spontaneous abortion". I will NEVER forget the ER doctor telling me before examining me that i was most likely about to expel the fetus..seriously. It was awful. But all ended up completely fine. Sorry you went through that!!!

This happened to me as well. It happened around 7w or so. I thought it was the end. I went to my Obs office and had to see a different doctor. She wasn't very positive, and said that there was a good chance I would miscarry. This was due to low hb (122) and the bleed. She never gave me instructions to take it easy or abstain. I'm 25w on Tuesday, and never went back to that doctor. Mine - was more positive and said the122 was perfectly fine. Lots of thoughts and prayers!!

I had one early on, scared the Sh*t out of me! I did the same thing, took it easy for a while and was told it might bleed again but it has not yet (knock wood)
sorry you had such a scary night, it is awful but so glad everything is okay!
