Elliptical machine
Has anyone lost tons of weight doing this (in conjunction with eating properly)?
We currently have one in the basement collecting dust..I really need to get my a$$ in gear

I must admit, I LOVE the elliptical machines. My legs and butt looked really good when I did this religiously. I would go backwards and forwards and it really worked my leg muscles.

Get that out of the basement!!! DH & I have been looking to purchase one. I lost a lot of weight on it & it really toned my muscles!!!!

The elliptical is actually really good because it is for total body....plus cardio is the most effective may to lose weight.
Some tips: Going backwards makes absolutely no difference....some people swear it does, but it doesnt have anymore of an effect then going forward.
Beginners....start out slow and work up time and resistance...you dont wanna go hardcore right away because it will tire you and make you frustrated, plus in about 4-6 weeks, you will plateau and stop losing weight

Once I switched to using this at the gym I lost a ton of weight..it was amazing. I'd invest in one if I had the room.

I musted be the only one who doesn't like it- it makes my legs bigger
only running works for me- everytime i try it- I regret it
I build leg muscle very quick- I played field hockey for years and the legs have stayed 11 years later
