EBF MOMS--when did you start solids
Dr hasnt mentioned this to us yet and he's 4 months I think its becuase he's a peanut and has had stomach issues but I also heard that breastfed babies usually dont get solids till later...

I tried for the first time at six months. She will be seven months in a week and still isn't really interested in the solids.

we started at 4 months my kids were huge eaters so my doc thought they would benefit from some more calories in addition to BFing.

I exclusively BF and started solids (rice cereal) at 4 months old. Andrew was a big boy, and the pedi wanted to give him something extra because he was nursing too much. He took to solids like a pro!

We started at about five months and one week (he will be six months on Thursday). He doesn't seem all that interested in it and it's quite a bit of work to get through a feeding. Sometimes he opens his mouth and other times not, and I think more ends up on his bib than his stomach. I guess it will just take some time.
