Ebay Question - Edited with follow up?
I am a newbie to all of this. I sold a pair of baby shoes on ebay. I had the shipping (to the US) as $6...someone from London bought these shoes so obviously the shipping will be more. The lady just sent the money to my paypal account and only sent the $6 for shipping plus the price of the shoes
What do I do now?

So I checked some other items I am selling and where it has the shipping rate, it says "service to US" and then where it says ships to, it has "us"
Is this sufficient to show that the rate shown is only for shipment to the US?

Doesn't hurt to let her know that the $6 was for US shipping only and let her know the charge for int'l shipping. If she doesn't want to pay it, I would refund the money. OR you can eat the shipping charge and remember to mark all further items with USA shipping only.

ok, she has emailed me and told me that she only paid the shipping to the us and she asked to send it to a us address. whew, crisis averted

Did you indicate it was $6 domestic only? If you didn't just explain to her you overlooked this and what the int'l shipping would be.
Offer to refund the money if she doesn't pay it. Hopefully she's not a b*tch and won't give you a hard time.
If you didn't specify domestic only (or no int'l shipments)... technically she has a right to dispute it.
I'm sure she'll understand though

not sure
but in the comments section where you are explaining the item - you can stress the rules of the payment
I always put - payment via PayPal only. So you can say - I only ship within the US, or something like that

I believe you can add that into the description area.
Also, I would state "continental USA". Alaska and Hawaii shipping cost are much higher than the lower 48.
