Easter bunny - creepy!
OK people, does the Easter bunny (like the photo op ones at the malls) creep anyone else out? I'm so freaked out that I refuse to bring my daughter and don't plan on EVER taking her. Am I a Bad parent or smart to avoid a creepy gimmic money ploy?
Btw, I'm all for Santa...

They're not my favorite character either, but I'm still taking DD. I wouldn't want her to miss out, unless she tells me herself one day she doesn't want to sit on his lap

I don't take my kids or ever plan to. I never went as a kid and it didn't ruin my Easter. I think your traditions are what you make them. My kids would probably not sit on the lap of a giant human size bunny that doesn't talk. At least Santa is human

As a kid I was always scared of the Easter bunny at the mall. I was able to get away with have a picture taken when DD was an infant, but now they are petrified of him. They are not interested so neither am I, lol.

I've always liked the EB, maybe I just like the flowers and how cute the area is set up.
We saw the one at Walt Whitman today- he was just greeting kids, we didn't do pics and he was super friendly. Even my DC, who usually fears characters, liked him!

Santa and bunny creep me out. We took DS once when he was a baby to see Santa, he hated it, we hated it, never did it again.
