East Meadow moms -- pre k??
Any of my fellow east meadow mommies have any info on the pre-k program. I'm trying to decide if we will keep DS in his current school for prek next year or start sending him to public. I'm in meadowbrook if it matters. Thanks!

East Meadow school district doesn't have a real pre-school program. They do a 2 day a week hour and a half program from like February to May. Scope has a preschool program at the Salisbury center but it is not East Meadow's program

I am in east meadow. My twins will be one next month but still always good to hear about the district. I am in barnum woods

My son attended Firehouse Co-op for 4 year old PreK (4 days a week, 2.75 hours) and also the school districts 10-week prek program (2 days a week, 1.5 hours). DS loved Firehouse and he did really well there.
A neighbor sent her DD to Montesorri on N Bellmore Road (loring road?) at that church right by the Wantagh Pkwy entrance. And she loved them. I can attest, the DD did Prek & KIndy there and is very advanced

My DD goes to Kiddie Junction in Levittown although we are in Barnum Woods. I will probably send her there for pre-K also.
That being said - how soon do we need to start thinking about pre-k...She just started nursery school 2 weeks ago..LOL
