Early Pregnancy Question- Cramps, Normal or Not?
One of the biggest reasons I decided to test so soon is that when I get my period I hardly ever get cramps. Starting from about the 18th onward I've been getting them. I mentioned it to my mom and she said I need to talk to the dr about it. Its getting me nervous.The only other symptom I have is sore breasts (which I always get before period). Are cramps normal or cause for concern?

Definitely normal  I had cramps right before my BFP (swore it was AF!) and it lasted until I was about 6 weeks or so. It's just your uterus getting ready for the baby

Normal I had cramping very early on it freaked me out too, but it was nothing to worry about.

Totally normal..I had AF like cramps like my period was coming any day up for weeks after my BFP...try not to worry!

I should just say as long as they are relatively mild and there is no bleeding you have nothing to worry about

I've noticed
Yeah, they are definitely mild. I told my mom she probably doesnt remember anything she felt since it was 30 years ago and alzheimers may be kicking in

Hi!
I just posted about cramping because I too get concerned with it.
Cramping was my very first symptom and It's still going. it's my main symptom actually.... and the boobies are pretty tender (though sometimes they are OK).
the overall consensus was that cramps are OK and normal as long as there's no bleeding associated with them.
My cramps even go down into the top of my left upper thigh.
I went to the doctor today and told him about them and he didn't seem on tiny bit concerned about it at all! He said oh ok that's fine. He was more concerned if my stomach hurt when he pushed on it, which it didn't.

PS there is a Lingo link... incase you haven't seen that yet..... you can find most of the definitions there.
i too have problems with the lingo!! I'm slowly getting better!
I still don't know what the heck 2ww is!
TTC board uses WAY more lingo than the pregnancy one!!
