dumb question for a Grey's fan
i don't watch the show, but i always hear about "mc dreamy" where did this name come from? is that the actual character's name? just curious- none of my friends watch either so this is a mystery

They nickname things with "Mc"
And because he's so pretty, he's McDreamy.

yup. his characters name is actually derek shepard. but mcdreamy has a better ring
