Dumb question - I should know the answer to this RE: implantation

Someone was asking me what implntation cramping feels like, and because I had no clue I was pregnant, I don't remember ever feeling it - plus, i didn't have the bleeding - so if you were to describe implantation cramps, how would you describe it?

Re: Dumb question - I should know the answer to this RE: implantation

I had some cramping which I then just assumed was the onset of AF.

Felt a little lighter and less persistent than AF. And I felt it mostly on the right side- not sure if that has anything to do with which ovary the egg came from.

Re: Dumb question - I should know the answer to this RE: implantation

I would describe it as menstrual cramps.

OK - another really dumb question - you would feel it low, where your ovaries are, right?

you'd think I was sleeping during sex ed, huh? Chat Icon

The best way I would describe them is as really ACHEY menstrual cramps.

Believe it or not I had cramping most of the first trimester. But I think after the first few days of cramping it was just organs starting to move and shift and make room.

see - the only time I remember feeling crampy was when I was considered PMS - I didn't realize I was pregnant, and then the morning sickness took over, so if I was crampy, I didn't notice because I was too busy throwing up Chat Icon

I never had an ounce of M/S so it was very easy for me to concentrate on cramps! Chat Icon

i had implantation cramps - they were actually very much the same as AF cramps, maybe even a little stronger. i would have sworn on a bible that TBAF was on her way early!
