Dora the Explorer and one smart aleck 2 year old played a prank today- Long but funny
So I go to get gas today and hmmm... my cash card, my credit card and even my back up credit card are missing from my wallet. Knowing I left my wallet in the diaper bag when I dropped my kids off at child care at the Y, I immediately think they have been stolen. Other than in my house, they haven't been out of my sight and I just used my credit card right before then.
I spend about an hour on hold and with customer service to cancel all my missing cards. SO aggreviating- all the while cursing out child care people at the YMCA. Then later on I put Grace down for her nap. She knew that I was upset about the missing cards and watched me make all the calls. She tells me that SWIPER STOLE MY STUFF and I would NEVER SEE IT AGAIN! I ask her ever so gently where swiper put my stuff and she says a lake. I ask again and she giggles, the sky. Finally I ask a third time and she says Daddy's desk drawer. Lo and behold, I go to his drawer and there are my cards. THANK GOD, I didn't accuse anyone at the YMCA yet. I planned on talking to them tomorrow.
And, yes, Grace is barely 2 1/2. I know, I am so screwed its not even funny.

I know its really funny now but... What is even stranger is she left all the pretty cards- like my Ann Taylor Loft card and others. That is what lead me to believe they had been stolen!

Unfortunately this is just ONE in a long line of things she has done to torture me with this week. I am so in for it its not funny.
