"doll" gift for 8-year-old girl?
I need to get a gift for an 8-year-old girl - (it's for a needy child at my kids' school) - she's requested a doll.
What kind of doll do you think she'd like? Maybe a journey's doll from target? Help! TIA!! =)

Do you mean the American Girl knock off's at Target?
Our Generation?
If so, yes, she would. My DD loves hers.
I think they are around $40

Walmart also sells a knockoff version, I think they are cuter than the target ones

My daughter is 7 and loves her AG dolls and her Our Generation dolls from Target equally. Also, TJ Maxx (at least the one in Kings Park) has like 1072 Our Generation dolls for $19.99ea.

I saw them at Marshall’s in syosset for $24.99 last week. My daughter is 6 and calls them all American girl doll and doesn’t know or care about the difference.
