Doll for a 1 year old girl?
I took DD to Barnes and Noble today (they have a play area) and she found a lost doll (very scary...bald, naked, ballpoint pen writing all over the head.) Anyway, she loved it! She picked it up and wanted to kiss it but I snatched it away from her and picked her up to bring her to another area.
So, I started thinking that it is time for me to get her a doll. She has tons of books, musical and developmental toys, but I have overlooked the most simple toy of all--the dolly!
What are your suggestions for baby dolls for a one year old?

my dd LOVES her fisher price twins. theres really nothing special about them but she favors them over all the "cooler" baby dolls iv got for her

I have to agree with the previous poster- my DD STILL sleeps with "Julie" at age 3 almost-the pink one of the set even though is brown now!

My DD has this one from Fisher Price:
I LOVE the fact that it is 100% machine washable. Whenever it gets icky I just throw it in the machine with the laundry.

DD loves this one and has another one that makes sounds/moves (so i never turn it on)!

Sydnie has been loving her newborn Water Babies doll for months now!!! Totally get her one!!!!!! It's so cute how they naturally know what to do
