Dog's head is shaking uncontrollably

I noticed lately that once in a while my black lab mix' head shakes uncontrollably. Its the kind of symptom that I think Parkinson's or MS patients have. Anyone else's dog have this?

It goes away on its own, but I'm scared for her.

Take him to a vet asap. Or take the dog to the nearest animal emergency center.

Depending on HOW you mean 'shaking' it could just be ear mites. Any updates??

Re: Dog's head is shaking uncontrollably

My dog shakes when he has an ear ache. I took him to vet and they gave me meds. So now when he does this i clean his ear and put meds in everyday and in a day or so it goes away.

Re: Dog's head is shaking uncontrollably

It usually happens with dogs whose ears flop down, it is painful and the liquid meds clears it up. I hope the lab went to the vet.
