dog scratching out hair
I checked my dog this morning and she has a bald spot on her back and it is all irrattated and red it is probably about an inch long? i dont see any fleas on her and she is treated for flea but she just keeps scratching and biting at that area i feel soo bad does anyone know what this could be and how to treat it until i can get an appointment at the vet?tia

it's called a "hot spot" Sometimes its due to allergies or a bug bite that they keep scratching until the hair falls out. The vet will usually give them a cortizone shot and some cream for the spot.
