Does your LO sleep in their crib or eat when they are sick?

DS has croup and is pretty miserable. He wouldn't sleep last night unless he was in my arm in the glider and he didn't eat too much yesterday and he won't eat breakfast this morning. Please tell me I'm not alone in this

I'm sorry. DS had croup two months ago and it was awful. He appetite was not the same at all. He would sleep in his crib, but woke up frequently. He also wasn't playing and just wanted to be held.

DS had croup when he was 6 months. His appetite was completely off. He would nurse but he didn't want any solid food. He did sleep very well in his crib though- woke up once at night to nurse but back then that was typical even when he was healthy. I hope your LO feels better soon!

Sorry to hear your LO is sick. DS had croup last week and was miserable. He slept in our bed for 2 nights, then on other nights he would wake up coughing and I'd rock him back to sleep. Now that he's better he has been sleeping fine and his appetite is back. Hope he gets better soon!

I tried to put him in my bed last night but the minute you lay him down he starts screaming. He doesn't have a fever anymore and his coughing sounds regular (doesn't sound like a bark anymore) so it seems like he's getting better but is still very fussy, coughing and has a runny nose. I had just decided I was going to try and get him to sleep better in general and the next day he was sick. I'm sleeping in the glider with him in my arms and that's not the most fun thing to do. I so took sleeping in peace for granted before having a child.

Ds has croup all the time. We have always kept him in his crib. He appetite varies but he always still eats and drinks.

When sick she likes to sleep with me. After that she does back in her crib.

Luckily, unless its a stomach bug then my kids always still sleep in their crib/bed. DD doesn't really eat when she's sick, DS eats but not nearly as much.

Does your LO sleep in their crib or eat when they are sick?

All bets are off when DD is sick. She can basically sleep wherever she wants (in our bed) and can eat whatever she wants as long as she's eating.

Normally she would eat what we're eating but when she's sick if she wants meatballs for breakfast or Cheerios for dinner that's fine with me.

Once she's better we go back to normal.

My little guy is 12 months. Typically, when he's sick (and he's been tortured by ear infections since 6 months) he is either in with us (well me, since my DH travels most of the week) or I'm sleeping with him in the glider in his room. My boy ended up being diagnosed with RSV this week. He's been miserable for over a week. Yesterday and today were the first days I've seen him a bit more himself. However, his appetite was the first thing to go, followed by the drippy nose, cough, and eventually fever.
