DS is ok for about 3 pages lol..then he is on to something else..

DD (3.5 yrs) - yes...for a long time now..I probably could read chapter books with her she loves books so much!
DS (2.5 yrs) - no interested...* occasionally Ill get a short book in if it is about trains or Toy Story..

Yes, for the most part. But I've been reading to her forever. Sometimes she gets up and runs around, but especially when it's a new story she stays and listens to the very end.

Yes you can read book after book to him and he loves it but he's pretty much been like that since he was an infant.

Yes - DD loves to read, loves to be read to, loves books. Sometimes she isn't in the mood of course, but sometimes I'm not either.

yes, DS has always loved reading.
He would never go to sleep if I let him. he would just pick out book after book and recite them back word for word to me.

No but DD#1 isn't a sitter - the only time you can get her to sit for stories is at night when she is IN bed for her bedtime story. Otherwise she wants you to read but she won't necessarily sit for it - she walks around but if you stop she knows exactly where you stopped and will sometimes finish the line if it is a book she knows.
DD#2 however is almost 2 and will sit for 15 books in a row so I really think it depends on the child more than anything.
