Does Macaroni Grill have good food? Need suggestions!
I have a gift card from christmas to Macaroni Grill/Chili's/Maggianos etc...
We have never tried Mac. Grill and could really use a dinner out...but wondering if the food is good? What would you recommend if you like it there?!

We got one of those gift cards last year, and we used it at macaroni grill. I was also there once for an LIW GTG. IMHO, it's just okay. Not a place that I would go to if I didn't have a gift card for it.

Hmm thats kind of what i thought. The menu is very similar to olive garden from what i can see and i'm not crazy about that...maybe we'll do maggianos even though we've been there a million times!!

I went there once for dinner. Honestly, I would not go back. The food was just ok IMO.

I would say it is slightly better than Olive garden, but not one of my favorite places. I pretty much only eat there if i am in the Source mall area and the wait is not ridiculous (which is not often)

I used to work there a few years ago and have been back since and the food has gone downhill, used to be better. I would probably go to Maggianos if you like it.

skip macaroni grill- i dont think the food there is good at all.
instead, id go to chilis and get a ton of 2 for 1 margiaritas and that awesome queso dip

I've only been there once, years ago when they first opened in Westbury. I thought it was good. I had shrimp ravioli and really liked it.
IMO, for a chain, it blows Olive Garden out of the water!

I used to work at MG back in 97 - it was good then and very popular- they used to have 2 hour waits - but honestly we almost never eat there anymore b.c the food has gone significantly down hill we only go around our anniversary since that is where DH and I met -I would say it is similar to Olive Garden now.
