Does DH buy you a gift from DC for your birthday?
My DH says that it is "bullsh!t" that he has to buy me something from Christopher for my birthday this week.
I was talking to my BFF and she said that she always thought that the kids "buy" a gift for mom or dad even when they were babies.
Are we the odd ones out?
ETA: I don't even mean something $$$, like a picture of the baby in a frame for my desk or something like.

I don't think its mandatory...but for a baby I think its cute that DH buy something from DC.
For my bday my DH made a card for me from johnny (lol) and signed it with scribbles...he also gave me my favorite chocolates from him...it was cute.
I think it's a nice gesture. I gave DH a very small present from Johnny as well...

yep, i got a gift from the baby for my bday in sept. i was still pg though so i don't knw if it's something he'll continue.

YEP, and takes our older son to pick something outI was preggo for this bday, but i got cards from the baby to be and a gift. He even took the older one to get me somehthing after i gave birth, DS got me UGGS, b/c i said how comfy they were! LOL...

He will get something small from them as well as cards from them and has them color in them. He said this year for my birthday and Christmas he's going to take Sarah to Target to help her pick something out herself.

Yes.
I originally just received a card from my "boys" (DS and my dogs). Then we went to Port Jefferson for the afternoon and DS "bought" me a nice paper weight that I fell in love with in one of the shop there.

This year I got presents from both of us. I did get DH a nice frame with his favorite pic of them both from "her". But my DH is not a big present giver- he would rather do stuff when it occurs to him(see my post on my surprise! ) so I don't really care if he gets me something from her or not.
