Does anyone wish they could rent over owning a home!!!
God I love my house but the bills, etc are ridiculous!!!!!!! I really wish we just kept renting and never owned a house. People say you are throwing your money away renting but that statement is just ridiculous to me now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i can feel ya 
we are renting and moving into a house and now that i go over our mortgage payments and bills its not as little as we though it might be. We pay $1,520 in rent all included outside of cable/phone and now our mortgage is $2,000 plus our utilities so ouchie! We don't make a ton of money so Dh has to work OT and I have to get more freelance work in order to afford to fix the house since all of our paycheck is going to be tied up on bills/mortgage and just a bit of savings.

Yes.
DH and I are so jealous of all the well rested, fun loving renters in the world. The ones who don't have to worry about collapsed cesspools, seeding lawns, termites, etc. etc.

Too funny...we've been our house less than a year, and I can't tell you how many times I've thought this. Dont get me wrong, I love my house and dont *really* want to go back to renting, but sometimes I just think about how easy my life used to be!

Every once in awhile, yes! I think of all the money we'd be saving!  But inevitably, we'd still buy.

i think it is safe to say i will NEVER feel that way once we get out of our apartment....
it is myself, DH and a dog in a 1 bedroom basement apartment with no closets - we call it "dungeon living"....oh and did i mention my in-laws live upstairs? 
i can't wait to have simple things like a microwave and dishwasher and WINDOWS

In reality I am glad we own but I know what you mean and I feel that way at times. Before we owned, time wasn't always consumed with things that needed to be done all the time. And just when you finish one project, big or small, there's another waiting. I just realized my front stoop is in worse shape than I thought, there goes another couple thousand, my trees need trimming, couple hundred bucks, always a "what's next?" kind of situation of money spending
