Does anyone really vote for a candidate

just because Robert DeNiro or Rudy Gulianni leave a generic message for me on their behalf? What a waste of money. I'd be more likely to vote if they took that portion of campaign funds and donated it to charity.

I think it's laughable but I bet some do...they do market research to see if people respond to celebrity endorsements.

I am sure a lot of people do. They are both very public figures that people may or may not have trust in and would vote for someone they recommend.

A lot of celebrites use their access to the public to convey/preach their political agenda.

I particularly like to hear the candidate platforms of lowering taxes & reducing crime. As if anyone had the opposite stance of raising taxes & letting criminals go.

I did give advice to the candidate standing at my train station. I told her that she was better off at the major hub station where she would have more constituents and not to stand by the stairs during rush house. Bottom line is if you're blocking me from getting to my train, you are not getting my vote. I know where my priorities are.
