Does anyone know what it costs to get surgery to stitch your ear holes?
My ear piercings are stretched out from wearing heavy earrings back in the day and I was wondering if anyone knew how much it would cost to get them stitched up so I can wear my studs?

I have the same problem. I went to see 1 dr and he wanted $3000.

Yup. My gf had hers done. and the doctor was able to do one ear at a time so that it would be covered by insurance.
Basically they cut the stretched lobe and then stitch it up and then she had to wait a few months (?) and then have them re-pierced. Now they are as good as new.

I paid $700 Last summer at south shore cosmectic surgrey- at exit 37 on the LIE
he did a beautiful job and repericed my ear after

Call your insurance company first. Get a list of doctors that participate in your plan. Ask if it's covered. They will probably tell you that your doctor will have to claim it's medically necessary. Then make an appointment, go and have the doctor submit the pre-auth to the insurance company. You should hear within a few weeks.
THe other thing is that your doctor may know from past experience whether or not the procedure is covered so you may just want to go to the doc and have him/her tell you.

they told me it was only covered it if ripped all the way thru
mine wasn't- but I didn't want to wait for that to happen
