Does anyone know of someplace to drop off stuffed animals for the holiday ?
We have so many good quality ones, still with tags that I want to get rid of , I just don't want to throw them away when they can make a child happy !

I donated 3 huge garbage bags of stuffed animals, some with tags some without to the local children's hospital.

I was told by two hospitals they don't take stuffed animals unless they are brand new.
You could try police stations or churches too!

Same here (my DH works at one of them). I would think any toy drive would take them (ones with tags).
This is why I NEVER give stuffed animals as gifts...because then their house will look like my house!

Big Brothers Big Sisters will even come pick up stuff from your house.

I just mailed out a box of stuffed animals to Project Night Night
They put together little bags of items like stuffed animals, a blanket and book for children in homeless shelters.
I sent mine to the mail in location in Michigan and they were *really* appreciative!

They put together little bags of items like stuffed animals, a blanket and book for children in homeless shelters.
I sent mine to the mail in location in Michigan and they were *really* appreciative!
Oh I love this! This one is near my hometown and is first on the "needs" list so I'm going to package up some stuff to send. Thanks for posting this

Thank you all for the responses, I will most likely do the project night night - the website had me in tears.
I am going to get some more stuff, blankets and everything together.
