Does anyone know of ever heard about paying for private school buses?

My coworker told me there are private bus companies (fully licensed and insured) that you can hire to pick up kids from school and bring them to another location. Has anyone ever heard of this? We are in a very difficult situation this fall with Kiera starting Kindergarten because we live in Merrick and my mom (who watches the kids) lives in Oyster Bay. So we are trying to figure out what to do when Kiera is done with school. My coworker swears there are private bus companies that you pay monthly to pick your child up from school and bring to another location.

I have never heard of this and was wondering if anyone has ever heard of this?

some school transport to day care of the Daycare will pick up...what exactly do you need, where does she need to be brought to

I'd contact Merrick school district and see if they have recommendations for you.

It's not day care, it's my mom's house. I can't leave work at 2:30 to get her and my mom does not want to drive from Oyster Bay to Merrick everyday to pick her up so we're trying to figure out a solution.

I have never heard of an actual bus company doing it though. I imagine that would be very costly for them to have an entire bus dedicated to your DC.

as far as i know this type of transportation for a distance like that would only be provided by a private school.
