I'm pretty sure it's non-refundable. Go to "My Account" and make sure that they will not automatically renew your membership when it expires.

Me too. I actually just got an email from my elementary school BF. When I moved to LI in 7th grade we lost contact. It's been great catching up with her.

I think classmates.com is better. I haven't joined either so I really can't comment, but they show you who is already a member, that way at least you can see if there is someone there you have been trying to contact.
