Does anyone have an American Girl Doll?
I have wanted one since they first came out 20 yrs ago and I finally got her!!!!
DH bought me Samantha for Christmas
She is being retired. Whatever is in, is in.

I have Molly. Got her when I was young and every year for Christmas we would get an outfit. Love the American Girls dolls!

I still have my Samantha doll. I love those dolls- beautiful quality AND they teach girls to appreciate history.

My sisters had Kiersten and Molly.
We LOVED those dolls!!!

OMG I feel old. I was like no way did they come out 20 years ago (remembering when the girl I babysat for got hers) but yep that would be about right. OMG where does the time go. 
To answer the question though, No I don't have one but plan to get DD one when she's a bit older.

I LOVE American Girl dolls. I've got Samantha, Kirsten, Molly, and Felicity from when I was younger.
My standard baby gift is the Bitty Baby. So cute!

I have Samantha circa 1988...I was in 6th grade when I got her - so she was never played with. However, I gave her to Sydney - so we'll see how that pans out...
My cousin Molly had the Molly doll - it was practically her identical twin - the glasses, the hair...I was so jealous I didn't look like my Samantha doll or that they didn't have an "Aimee" doll!

I love the American Dolls. I am looking everywhere for a Kailey doll for my DD. She was retired a couple of years ago. The store in NYC is incredible :)

I have Samantha and Kiersten....I can't believe they are retiring Samantha! I got her when I was 6 years old with my own money b/c I wanted her so badly....my mom made me save up! Back then there were only 3!

I don't, but I can't wait to bring Julia and get her one! My parents take my niece into the city every year for her b-day to get her a new doll, can't wait till Julia can go with them too!!
