Does anyone have a rec for a ped dermatologist besides Kristal/Hayman - they don't take my insurance.
I am so upset. DS has terrible eczema. I've already taken him to one derm who I did not like at all. My ped and so many people on here recommend Kristal and Hayman, but they don't take my insurance.
I live in suffolk but would be willing to travel to Nassau for someone really good.
I have Oxford Liberty, apparently the crappiest oxford plan available.

Andy has awful eczema and I took him to see Dr. Roxanne Abitbol at South Nassau Dermatology and she prescribed a non-steroidal creme that cleared it up almost immediately. I really like her a lot, I see her for my annual scan as does my brother and my mother.

I really liked Dr. Schneiderman in Syosset. Not so easy to get appointments, but he is extrememly knowledgeable and great with kids.

Not specifically a ped dermatologist, but Dr. Koss in Smithtown is awesome with my son and his excema and molluscum.
