Does anyone have a mortgage loan through Sallie Mae?
Are you happy with them?
I've heard it is best to get a mortgage through a "local" expert, but I have my student loan through Sallie Mae, so would get some extra benefits b/c I'm an existing customer.

I didnt know they offered mortgages. considering half of DH's paycheck goes to them, Im going to check it out!

yes, I just found it last night! They offer some discounts on closing costs as well as discounted rates to existing customers.
go to www.salliemae.com - under "After Graduation" click on "Home Loans". On that page, click on the box on the left hand side that says "Already a Sallie Mae customer?"
