Does ANYONE have a can of Elecare that I can buy from them ASAP???

Long story short, DD was put on alimentum for a milk protein allergy. We just confirmed that the allergy is still showing up (not surprised, she got like halfway better but still isnt 100%) and she now needs elecare formula. We are waiiting to hear from ins and I am unable to find this formula ANYWHERE in the meantime to hold us over until we get a shipment. Poor DD is just so uncomfortable and I just want to start this like yesterday! I am in nassau county and will pay/pick up from anywhere! thank you so much in advance.

I'm so sorry to hear that.
Same thing happened to my DD. She was on Nutramigen (same as Alimentum).Then needed to be on Neocate (same as Elecare).

We searched everywhere because we needed it ASAP. We found a pharmacy in Queens that has it in stock. We don't live anywhere near Queens but we drove there.

It was called:

Vitality drugs in Bayside Queens carries it on the shelf.

I would give them a call to see if they have Elecare. If not Neocate is the same thing (hypoallergenic formula- zero milk based)

I think I have some. Another LIFer came to my rescue when I needed Elecare and I would love to pay it forward. FM.

wow guys this community is amazing! Bmonster was kind enough to give me 2 cans to hold us off. Depending on our outcome if its ok we may have to take you guys up on your offers. Thank you so much again, you guys are amazing!
