Does anyone else get like really anxious?
I have found that I get really anxious when I find out that other people are pregnant. Of course, I am so happy for them, but I cannot help but get this anxious feeling... Like I have to hurry up already and get pregnant.
I think this comes from freaking out a little bit about getting older--- not that I am that old. I just can't help it. I am also the kind of person that stresses out and worries constantly about EVERYTHING-- so, anxiety is not something entirely new to me.

I get the same way! I know it's not a race, so I'm not sure why I feel that way at all. I guess I just I feel anxiety over everything to do with this TTC process. I get anxious when other people get BFPs, I get anxious when I know I'm near O time, then I get anxious again after a few days waiting for symptoms, then I get anxious to test, then it's anxiety to get AF so we can start a new cycle... there's always something.

I used to feel that too before I had DD. It didn't help that I had a M/C and D&C the day before my SIL found out she was pregnant.
I am a pretty anxious person too so I understand

I experienced the same exact feelings which is probably why I ended up at a RE after 6 months of not getting pg. I am in my mid 30's which also makes me feel like things have to happen quickly. You are not alone!

randi I am with you on the anxiety. Not one day goes by when I am not anxious. Even on my day off from work.

I definitely get that way, almost to my detriment. I guess it's tough watching everyone get PG..

I do! I always feel like it's a race! Like...I wanna be the one that only stays here X amount of months or like it's NEVER gonna happen past 3 tries. It's crazy!!!

At least I am not alone... It also doesn't help that everyone I know *in real life* seems to get pregnant on the first try--no matter how old, how many kids they have, etc. Not like i have been trying for so long- I am totally aware of that- but, it seems like I am the only one who has to worry if and when it's going to happen...

I am constantly worrying it won't happen for us too.
I am not very religious at all, but someone on this site recently said that God is not in the business of punishing people so I just have to keep in mind that there is a master plan out there for me (and all of us) somewhere!
