Does anyone actually use coconut oil on their hair?
I love it! It's a spray called uniq One Coconut that I buy at the salon. It doesn't make my hair slimy. I spray it on my palms and work it in to damp hair, then blow dry. I also spray it onto my hair dry. Love it

Does anyone actually use coconut oil on their hair?
I use it once a week on my scalp, but I don't wash it out. It doesn't leave my hair greasy but keeps my scalp conditioned.

once a week, about 30 minutes before a shower, i put it on my hair and my scalp. i wrap it in a bun and keep it in a shower cap. then 30 minutes later i wash it out in the shower. it helps with my eczema and makes my hair look healthier.

I am glad I wasn't the only one that thought about this. I ALWAYS thought it would make my hair REALLY greasy somehow.

I have very, VERY thick coarse hair that I have been coloring for 20 years. I wash it out with shampoo when i am done, but there is always a little that remains - I usually do it on a weekend where I am not doing much anyway and will have a few more shampoos in before needing to look presentable.

I have fine hair as well but use coconut oil on front and top roots 2x a month. I massage with fingertips for 5-minutes and leave overnight. It is really greasy from leaving on overnight and have to shampoo (sufate-free) a few times to rinse and clean. I really like the results though (hair feels thicker and moisturized).

Thank you, everyone! I have a jar of Coconut oil from Trader Joe and I always hear that it is so good for your hair... I think I will try it one of these days!

Yes. Overnight or at least a few hours. Hair looks wet that's how much I use.
Need 2-3 shampoos to get it out. Keeps my hair lustrous and shiny!
