Do you think it ruins the surprise to send holiday out take photos?
I sent some friends out takes from this weekend and she mentioned that it "ruins the surprise". Kinda like someone seeing your wedding dress before your wedding day? (okay, maybe not as extreme)
I thought it was fine when I sent them out but then I thought "hmm, she has a point!"

I usually save "the" photos until the card so it is extra special.
Outtakes and all.
I'm usually bursting at the seams to send them out though!!

same here. I don't post or show even the outtakes until people get them in the mail. I too feel it ruins the surprise.

I only sent to photos from our AvaJack shoot to my mom, MIL, and our sibs and I only did that because I was dying to share. I won't show anyone else until the holiday cards are out!

I wouldn't think so but my SIL won't let me post the pics we took on Shutterfly at the Sandman contest on Sat. since she is using one of her DD for her card. She doesn't want to ruin it. ETA: Hence the reason I post on here to get my fix!
