Do you have a coir doormat? Does it shed?

Ours sheds like a mofo. I hate it - we track the little fibers into our house. It's the second one we've bought.

First was from Bed, Bath and Beyond - and this one is from Kohl's. Do we have to upgrade to to a more expensive kind? Or a different style altogether?

i dont know if it is the same one i had but i got one at kohls too and it was one of those insert ones. i just bought the insert because it was small enought to fit the step before my side entrance. i just threw it out becuase i kept getting all these hay like fibers all over my floor it couldnt take it anymore! i got it to stop the dirt entering the house and then i had hay fibers - so annoying!

our mat sheds too, we got it from improvements catalog. i have to hose it down weekly and take one of those thick bristled brooms and wipe the fibers off a bit.
