Do you cut the cloth tag off DC bibs and Stuffed toys?

My dd is obsessed with putting them in her mouth. I left on bibs and her baby (some weird stuff toy, she needs to fall asleep), and she goes right for the tag and chews on it. When i cut off one of her bibs it ripped the bib and made a hole. I dont want the toy to rip open and stuff come out.

Anyone elses child obsessed with the tag?

A lot of kids are. There is a brand called taggies they have bears and blankets covered with tags for kids to play with.

I bought DD a Taggies outfit (but she outgrew it too fast to appreciate it) and a Taggies ball. I was thinking of cutting the tags off also because some seem as though they would scratch and she likes to rub things on her face lately. Chat Icon

My kids love the taggies. I never cut them off though.

I never cut them off either because DS likes to play with them. Also, they allow me to write his name on it for daycare.

I cut them off b/c I read a story in Parents or Parenting about a kid who cut their eyeball open on the tag. But I'm a tad neurotic that way...
