Do most people send kids in the Oyster Bay East Norwich SD to private school?

I've been getting mixed reviews about the school district.

Do most families send their kids to private school?

The wealthy do send their children to private such as Friends and Greenvale. The elementary schools are great, but I have heard mixed about the High School. Gorgeous area though and I would live their in a heartbeat!

I teach in the district and would not hesitate to send my own children there. Some of the wealthy send their kids to private schools but many don't. We have had more and more kids visiting our school from neighboring private schools with intentions of entering this september. I am proud to work in the district and have absolutely nothing bad to say about it. The teachers as well as the administrators put the children first and go above and beyond. We fundraise with our kids, show up at sporting events on weekends, as well as concerts and recitals...just because we love the community. It is such a wonderful place to work and I hope that someday I can afford to live there! It's a great community.
