Do any of the DHs take your kids to music/gym classes?
DH gets 3 months off for a research rotation starting in February and will be watching DS full time while I work. He is hesitant to go because he thinks it will be all mommies.

DH took DS to our 1st one at the library. After that I took him and in 2 months 1 dad came with another mom. Basically it is mostly moms, but I guess I'm lucky Dh wouldn't mind doing it anyway.

DH took DS once when I was home really sick. There have been daddies in the music together class too. Not every week, but maybe 1/2 of the classes for the term.

DH takes DD to Gymboree on Saturdays and it is almost ALL dads. During the week we find it to be a mix of Moms, Dads, grandparents and nannies.

We both take her to Music Together on Saturday mornings, and he's never the only dad there.

Rob has taken the boys to all of their activities. He thought a lot of stuff would be all mom's too (field trips, class parties, etc..) - but he was surprised that there were actually a few dad's that were consistantly involved and he made a few friends that way.

My Dh took Liam to baby swim classes at SafTswim. There were a couple of other dad's and he LOVED IT!! THey went when he was 4 months. THey plan to go again after the new year.

We do My Gym - it is mostly mom's but I've definitely attended classes with some daddy's. My DD's class has only one daddy and he doesn't seem to mind at all!!

My DH took my dd to her play together classes bc he was off that day, I was so sad that I couldn't take her but he loved it, there was 1 or 2 other dads there occasionally but for the most part he was the only one

Dh took DS to gymboree A LOT and he loved it and there were ALWAYS other dads there.

It most likely will be all moms, but he'll get over himself when he sees how much fun it is with DS. My husband was always the one to take Ava to her classes and what not, and to this day, he's the one to do all the school parties, field trips, etc., because he works nights and is home during the day. He got over it quickly, and he's extremely shy. Just sign him up and make him go.

DH and i both take DS to gymboree. there are always a ton of dads and even some grandparents

On the weekends, there were sometimes more Dads than Moms at Gymboree. During the week, when I took DC, I was sometimes the only Dad, but not all the time.
Soccer is more Dads than Moms, but I think that's because it's scheduled so that it's after work (since the coach is a Dad and works).
Karate during the week has some Dads and Grandfathers, and the weekend has a lot more.
Odds are, your DH will see other men at a lot of the activities.

DH is going to be taking DD to gymboree on Saturdays when the next session starts. I take her during the week and there are always a few dads.

DH takes DD to her gymnastics when he's off, which isn't very often. It's a mommy & me class, but there are often daddies there instead of mommies.

I take me DD to a music class during the week and there are a couple of daddies in the class. I think it is fine for your DH to take your DC to music class. When my DH has off he has no problem taking my DC to their classes.
