Divorce attorney recommendations - UPDATED
Can anyone recommend a good divorce attorney? After being misled for MONTHS by the crappiest attorney on the planet, I fired mine last night. I need someone to wrap this up and be a pitbull for me.
Also, do I have any recourse (complaining to the bar association, etc.) for being outright lied to, calls ignored, etc.?
* I have another lawyer and she is going for the jugular!! He can forget the whole "Mrs. Nice Guy" routine I was delivering, now there's hel l to pay!!

You definitely need a barracuda attorney who HATES men. 
Let me email a friend of mine, she works with an AWESOME divorce attorney. Sorry you are going through this.

Yes and she is GREAT she got my lazy ex ******* to sign those papers and give me exactly what I wanted. I got her through my aunts very good friend. You can tell her I sent you...but FM and Ill give you my name and such.

Thanks everyone. I have done nothing but cry over this disaster since last night. I feel like I'm on the verge of a breakdown. Nothing, and I mean nothing has progressed for months at this man's expense. Here I thought I was at the tail end of this shyt and I starting back at square one

Ugh I am so sorry honey. You will get yourself a new lawyer, someone you can trust and will be on your side. I;m telling you my ex dragged his feet because he all of a sudden decided he didnt want this and she got the job done.
Again FM to talk or if you plan to get in touch with regina. I found she was tough with what she had to be...but also so sympathetic to what I was going through.

I knew IL had an organization for this bc DH is an attorney. He just told me where to look on the NY Bar Association site.... This could be the first start in finding out if you have any recourse
