Disney Value Resorts?
Any recommendation on which one to pick?

I tend to point my clients towards Pop Century. The main reason for that choice is the resort sits off by itself, away from the other 3 value resorts which sit side by side. Because of that, Pop Century has more or less dedicated transportation, meaning that it does not share buses with other resorts. This can be a major advantage during peak season.
I also tend to prefer the food court at Pop, as I think it has a better selection.
All the resorts are pretty much the same regarding room size and amenities, with the exception of the family suites located at All-Star Music.
If your plans are for later in 2012, there is a new value resort currently under construction near Pop Century. This is Disney's Art of Animation Resort and is slated to open in late May (this could change). This resort will be comprised of both standard rooms and family suites.

we just stayed at POP Century in May, and it was great!! we didn't have any kids with us, but i could maybe see the rooms being a little tight if you had kids with you... but still not bad. even as adults, we LOVED all the fun decorations all around (giant juke box, huge mr. and mrs. potato head, gigantic big wheel..."
and its nce that they have direct buses to all of the parks. made it really easy to get around!
