Dinner party turned to lunch..
We were going to have friends over tomorrow for a dinner party...now it is changed to a 12pm lunch date.
What should we serve??? I was going to make some appetizers (foccacia and stromboli) but not sure any thoughts or suggestions for the actual lunch?  thanks!!

It is still really nice out to BBQ!
What about some chicken or beef kaboobs with corn on the cob and maybe a green salad or pasta salad on the side.

I think you should marinate a london broil tonight so it will be really infused with flavor by tomorrow. Grill up the meat and serve it with garlic toast, sliced tomatoes and a salad with a light dressing.

I am in the same dilemma for a lunch I am having on Sunday. The chicken kebobs sounds like a good idea. Not a big dinner type meal but also not cold cuts.

I make these chicken kebobs all the time and everyone loves them. I buy chicken breasts and cut them into cubes and marinate them in Sausy Susan peach apricot over night. then I wrap the chicken in bacon--cut a slice of bacon in half and wrap around each chicken cube---and then i use peppers onions and cherry tomatoes to make the rest of the kebobs!!!
