Did you get a sono at your 1st OB visit?
I had fertility issues, so at 5 weeks I had my first sono and saw the heartbeat, but now my RE has "graduated" me to my regular ob/gyn. She wouldn't see me before 10 weeks and I never asked if she would be doing a sono at that visit.
I'll be 10 weeks next week, do you think she'll do a sono then?

I would think so. 5 weeks is sooo early. I had one at 5w6d and even though we saw a h/b, my doctor suggested a follow up one (just because it was so early), so I had another one at 7.5 weeks.

I had my first ob appt at 8 weeks and they scheduled a sono for that week to "date" the pregnancy.

I didn't get one until yesterday, at 19 weeks. And i had fertility issues too, but it didn't matter.
Guess it depends on the doc and insurance.

no i got it at 8 weeks i went to the dr at 5 or 6 weeks at first

No, my first appointment (about 6 weeks) was a general exam and they took blood and urine to confirm the pregnancy and screen for thyroid and if I was a carrier for any birth defects.
First sono was at the second exam (9 or 10 weeks).

I didn't graduate to my Ob until I was almost 12 weeks i htink, but they did a sono at that first visit.
So excited you got to graduate..YAY..it's a good feeling isin't it??!!
