Did you end up doing all your weekend projects?

Considering I was so sick with a sick baby, we accomplished a lot.

- Bought patio set
- Bought a wheelbarrow
- Bought organic soil for my veggie garden
- Leveled off part of the yard. We had those mount of dirt/wood from last year's project when we cut the trees. They grounded the stumps and we left the shavings to the ground until this year. The underneath had become compost.
- Clear up grass area to set raised bed
- Used the compost from above to fill the bottom of my raised bed
- Spread all the organic soil on top of the raised bed
- Took weeds off my flowers beds
- Use left over mulch on one of my flower bed
- Transfered and divided hostas to another flower bed
- Cleaned up weeds and baged for trash.

It's not that much but DH and I are pooped

Wow you got a lot done!

We pressure washed the house...we live in a very wooded area and it's very shady so lovely green mold/moss grows on our house. It looks SO great now!!

I planted begonias and impatiens. I am attempting to have a green thumb.

We repaired the swingset, it looked like it was going to collapse so DH reinforced it with some wood.

We mulched a lot of spots around my yard. A LOT!

I cleaned my entire house.

We washed off all of the patio furniture.

There is more but my brain is fried and I am exhausted!

We bought a few hoses, a sprinkler, wheelbarrow, extension cords, rain guages last week.

We swept off the deck and the driveway and bagged all the little pieces that are falling off all the trees. That was when I realized that I had blistered and broken two identical patches of skin on the inside of my thumbs. Ow.

We raked and shoveled the white rocks from one bed off the driveway and into two garbage cans we have. My parents get first dibs, then they're going on Freecycle.

DH mowed the lawn and I did the edging. With the new extension cord, I was finally able to reach the entire property. It looks SO much better.

We also did a little investigating and found out the reason why our gutters aren't draining the way they should is because they are seperating from the house and there's a gap.

We don't want to have to replace them since we want to expand the house in the next 5 years, so now we have to do some investigating on how to get them back the way they should be.

Other than that, we spent some much needed QT alone.

wow!!! you guys got a lot done.
We busted arse on Saturday & had a party yesterday & today we are are just RELAXING!

We
moved all the mulch in the backyard

I finished putting the seedlings in the garden

planted a few more perinnials

filled the planters that stay on the deck

powerwashed the house

cleaned the gutters

washed the screens & most windows

got our pond running only to discover its cracked

cleaned out area where we will build my potting table

Dh installed new front & back lights

the only other thing I wanted to do but didn't was recover the chairs for our bistro set.
