Did anyone watch the movie "A girl like me" ?
It was on sunday night on lifetime. What a sad movie. Im pretty accepting of "transsexuals" but I never really understood it. One of the Gwen's therapists described it as part of the genetic process where the embryo are all female and the chromosones must change to male. But in transsexual cases, they take the form of a male, but still have the mind of a woman. Any thoughts?

I really enjoyed it although it was very sad. Made me cry. I hope they repeat it again.

Damn! I meant to tape it!! In the fall, some of my classes are reading She's Not There: A Life in Two Genders and I really wanted to use that movie as a supplement.
I am going to have to look to see when it is going to be on again.
